Sumo Digital has announced that it is going to sunset Stampede: Racing Royale this summer. It’s a 60-player free-to-play racing royale game that entered early access in 2023.
“Due to a variety of unexpected events, live support for our free-to-play kart racing game on Steam and Xbox will cease later this year,” the studio said in a statement. “Server availability and wider support for the game will end in approximately three months’ time; an exact end date will be confirmed in due course.”
Players will still have access to all of the game’s features including live-service and rotational events until the servers close.
