Resident Evil 4 remake is down to its lowest price ever
This is the discount that I have been personally waiting for all summer. The 2023 remake of Resident Evil 4 is on sale for $21.99 through Amazon for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PS4. That’s nearly half off its $39.99 list price 21% off its more typical $29.99 sales price. Amazon is selling the Xbox version as either physical media or digital download code; while the retailer only has the physical copies for PlayStation, the PS store is having its own sale and offering RE4 digitally for $19.99.
It seemed that literally every single other Resident Evil game has been on sale this Summer, including the 2005 version of RE4 — which is still great, to be sure, but the changes in the 2023 edition, both in terms of mechanics as well as visuals, are all largely improvements upon what was already a modern classic. It’s also not the first time the Resident Evil 4 remake has been discounted, as the game has been steadily dropping in price since its debut some 18 months ago. Still, at around $20 this is the lowest we’ve seen the game — we’re now decidedly in “impulse buy” territory, and trust us, it’s worth your time. Like we’ve said before, it turns out that Capcom is really good at making remakes.
