A Knight’s Tale Is Finally Getting A 4K Blu-Ray Release

Though it launched to mixed reviews in 2001, A Knight’s Tale has become something of a cult classic over the years, and soon fans can add the film to their 4K Blu-ray collection with the upcoming A Knight’s Tale 4K Steelbook edition. Preorders are now open ahead of its May 20 release, and along with a premium steelbook, it’s packed with never-before-seen features.

A Knight’s Tale 4K Steelbook Bonus Features

This new A Knight’s Tale 4K Steelbook Edition includes five never-before-seen deleted and extended scenes, an all-new gag reel, and a featurette Quill and Quarterhorse: 2nd Unit Photography. There’s also some behind-the-scenes commentary and bonus content from previous releases. Note that the special features are presented in 1080p definition.

A Knight’s Tale is a comedy starring Heath Ledger, who plays a lowly squire posing as a knight to win fame and fortune. It’s a hilarious movie that’s held up well over the years. This is the first time the movie will be available in 4K, though there’s also a $7 standard Blu-ray version available at Amazon.
