A Minecraft Movie 2 Announced, Coming July 2027
Warner Bros. and Legendary have announced A Minecraft Movie 2. The sequel is set to hit theaters on July 23, 2027.
The announcement of the sequel is no surprise at all. The original film, released in April 2025, made more than $950 million worldwide. It’s the No. 2 highest-grossing video game movie of all time, and the No. 69 highest-grossing movie of all time for all films ever released.
