You can find many armaments in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. You’re bound to be excited because some of these are just as viable as your favorites from the base game. But you’ll need to explore a lot to obtain them all. Here’s our guide on where to find all new DLC weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Likewise, since we’ll delve into various regions, this guide will contain spoilers.

All new DLC weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

The new DLC weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree are scattered across multiple regions. Our guide is organized based on when we visited each region during our playthrough and we’ve numbered them thusly. Additionally, the maps in this article may have star symbols. These denote if the weapon rewards are from quests or special tasks, as opposed to regular loot.

One last thing of note is that we did not include weapons that come from major bosses. However, we’ve listed them in our boss Remembrances guide.

DLC weapons in Gravesite Plain

As you can see on the Gravesite Plain map above, these are the DLC weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Backhand Blade

Found on a sarcophagus in the fields just northeast of Scorched Ruins.

Smithscript Dagger

Found inside the Ruined Forge Lava Intake. You can reach this dungeon by going south from the Castle Front waypoint and following the valley.

Anvil Hammer

A reward that comes from interacting with the golden forge inside the Ruined Forge Lava Intake dungeon.

Igon’s Greatbow

This DLC weapon in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree comes from an NPC named Igon. You’ll stumble upon him just past the Pillar Path Waypoint. This is also the way to the Jagged Peak.

Igon is crying out in pain, and it’s possible to attack him. In one of our backup saves, we did just that. He dropped his entire armor set, as well as his greatbow weapon. We reloaded a backup save to see what happens if we ignore him, but he disappeared after we had reached the arena of the major boss in Jagged Peak.

Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana

A reward for defeating the Ancient Dragon-Man boss inside the Dragon’s Pit dungeon, which leads you to Jagged Peak.

Bone Bow

In Belurat Tower Settlement, continue ascending the town ruins until you reach the street just past the Gravebirds on the rooftops. From there, you’ll notice a tower opening to the right, one that has a ruined staircase and Spider-Scorpions dropping from the ceiling. The bow is at the back of the room.

Horned Warrior’s Sword

Gain access to the sewer area of Belurat and defeat the Horned Warrior enemy.

Poisoned Hand

This weapon is also close to where you fought the Horned Warrior enemy. While facing the swamp and exit, look to your left to see a house partially submerged in muck. The weapon is behind the house’s roof.

Death Knight’s Twin Axes

A reward for defeating the Death Knight boss in Fog Rift Catacombs.

Greatsword of Solitude

Obtained upon defeating the Blackgaol Knight in the Western Nameless Mausoleum.

DLC weapons in Scadu Altus and Rauh Base

There are numerous Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC weapons in Scadu Altus and Rauh Base.

Milady

Cross the bridge that leads to Castle Ensis. After taking out the Ogre Mage, look to your left to see steps that lead to the ramparts. Climb the ladder and open the chest.

Moonrithyll’s Knight Sword

Acquired upon defeating an invader named Moonrithyll Carian Knight.

Wolf Crest Shield

As you explore Castle Ensis, you’ll arrive at a section with a library and several stone mask-wearing sorcerers. Go back the way you came and check the right-hand side for steps that lead to a room with a chest.

Carian Sorcery Sword

After clearing Castle Ensis and reaching Scadu Altus, follow the path that leads to the river. Continue along the left-hand side of the river until you reach the waterfall. You should see ledges that allow you to reach another section of the castle walls.

Black Steel Greatshield

Check the right-hand side of the waterfall outside Castle Ensis and tag the Scadu Altus – West Site of Grace. Below, you’ll notice ledges leading to the Fog Rift Fort. The miniboss here, Black Knight Garrew, drops this shield. Note that this shield can also drop from other black knight enemies, such as the one in the Church of Consolation in Gravesite Plain.

Smithscript Spear

Obtained inside the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past dungeon.

Smithscript Cirque

Another reward in the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past dungeon.

Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword

You can acquire this once you interact with the golden forge in the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past.

Found inside a burned down house in Bonny Village.

Tooth Whip

This is another weapon that you can pick up in Bonny Village.

Rabbath’s Cannon

Make your way to Rabbath’s Rise, which is due northeast of Bonny Village. This wizard tower has an illusory wall on the second floor. Hit it to reveal a balcony with a cairn (i.e. stacked stones). Destroy the cairn to activate the spiritspring, and use it to make Torrent jump high into the air. You may then grab this Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree weapon inside the tower chamber.

Smithscript Axe

This is one of the rewards found inside Taylew’s Ruined Forge.

Smithscript Great Hammer

Another reward obtained inside Taylew’s Ruined Forge.

Smithscript Shield

Yes, it’s yet another gear piece from Taylew’s Ruined Forge.

Death Knight’s Longhaft Axe

Defeat the Death Knight boss in the Scorpion River Catacombs dungeon.

Dryleaf Arts

This is basically akin to unarmed combat or martial arts style. You can get it by defeating Dryleaf Dane in a duel.

Red Bear Claw

Defeat Red Bear inside the Northern Nameless Mausoleum.

Claws of Night

Found in the underground area of the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. It’s part of the Finger Ruins quest.

Maternal Staff

You’ll receive this upon completing the Finger Ruins quest chain.

DLC weapons in Cerulean Coast and Charo’s Hidden Grave

These Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC weapons can be yours once you head to the southern regions of the map, which include Cerulean Coast and Charo’s Hidden Grave.

Lightning Perfume Bottle

As you’re making your way to Cerulean Coast, you should see a Brazier Giant lumbering around at the riverside area. To your left, there’s a Rolling Thunder Cow. Kill it to obtain this weapon.

Spirit Sword

Close to the Cerulean Coast – West Site of Grace, you’ll notice a narrow path that leads to a ravine that’s filled with blue flowers. This sword is at the eastern corner of the ravine.

Star-Lined Sword

From the same area where you found the Spirit Sword, follow the ravine path to the western exit. You’ll end up on a beach that’s crawling with demihuman enemies, as well as a miniboss named Demihuman Queen Mariga. If you’re built for ranged or spellcasting combat, you can just hop on the fallen mausoleum to strike her from afar.

Chilling Perfume Bottle

Found inside the Lamenter’s Gaol dungeon in Charo’s Hidden Grave.

Flowerstone Gavel

Once you defeat Bayle the Dread in Jagged Peak, return to the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. The Dragon Priestess will have disappeared by then. However, you can pick up the Flowerstone Gavel and Priestess Heart from her previous location.

Dancing Blade of Ranah

Obtained once you defeat the Dancer of Ranah in the Southern Nameless Mausoleum.

DLC weapons in Shadow Keep

These Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree weapons are located in Shadow Keep, a massive fortress at the very center of the realm. Do note that you need to traverse the flooded alternate path, too.

Main Gauche

Head past the Shadow Keep main area and go through the corridors to your left after beating the Golden Hippopotamus boss. Check the side rooms for a path that leads to a balcony overlooking the lower floor.

Dueling Shield

Make your way to the Specimen Storehouse facility and continue climbing the staircases. Eventually, you’ll reach a section where a Fire Knight has his back turned. The Dueling Shield can be picked up from this spot.

Carian Thrusting Shield

Head to the Cathedral District Entrance (i.e. flooded alternate path) and use the rooftops and railings to enter the chapel complex. This shield is in one of the rooms just past the Fire Knight enemies.

Fire Knight’s Seal

To get this DLC weapon in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, you must drain the flood waters in the Cathedral District. This allows you to reach the ground level of the chapel. The seal is behind the large statue with outstretched arms, in a section with multiple Bomber Skeletons. Note that the statue itself is the one that’s holding a Scadutree Fragment in its hand.

DLC weapons in Ancient Ruins of Rauh

You can find more armaments once you reach the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

Devona’s Hammer

Proceed further into the temple complex in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh until you see a Miquella Cross in the distance. Defeat the Paladin enemy here to obtain this reward.

DLC weapons in Recluses River and Abyssal Woods

The DLC weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree are found in the Recluses River and Abyssal Woods, which are actually secret areas. We discuss the steps in our Abyssal Woods guide.

Dryleaf Seal

As you’re making your way downstream at Recluses River, you’ll come across a shrine guarded by Gravebirds. This point of interest is actually part of the search for the Dryleaf Dane set.

Barbed Staff-Spear

As you’re about to exit Darklight Catacombs, you’ll get attacked by a boss named Jori, Elder Inquisitor. Take him out to receive this armament.

Madding Hand

While exploring the central area of the Abyssal Woods, you’ll spot an invader-type foe with a red nameplate. It’s Madding Hand, so beat him to obtain the, uh, Madding Hand weapon.

Frenzyflame Perfume Bottle

Go to the southeast corner of the Abyssal Woods to reach the Church Ruins point of interest. You’ll also find the perfume bottle there.

Nanaya’s Torch

Inside the library area of Midra’s Manse, you need to pull a lever to create a ledge of bookshelves to cross the gap. This lets you pick up the item on the opposite balcony.

Rakshasa’s Great Katana

These DLC weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree come from the Enir-Ilim dungeon. You can access it once you’ve unsealed the Belurat Tower of Shadow.

Horned Warrior’s Greatsword

As you ascend the grand staircase to the Cleansing Chamber Anteroom, you’ll stumble upon another Horned Warrior foe. Take him out to receive this armament.

Note: The next section has even bigger spoilers, so feel free to stop at this point for now.

Multiple weapons: Leda’s Sword, Falx, and Thiollier’s Hidden Needle

You can obtain multiple weapons from the next two encounters. The first pits you against Leda and other Miquella followers in a gauntlet-esque battle. The companions that you’ve assisted in their respective quests can also be summoned as allies for this bout. Leda’s Sword (dropped by Leda) and the Falx (dropped by Hornsent) can be yours at the end of this encounter.

Furthermore, if you completed Thiollier’s quest, you can obtain his weapon after beating the final boss. It’s on the ground in the boss’ arena.
