All The WWE Superstars Released In 2024 (So Far)

WWE has gone through plenty of changes in 2024. Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was accused of sex trafficking, which led to him resigning from parent company TKO. This was a shocking way to begin the year for both wrestling fans and the general public. And while there are some positives outside of the behind-the-scenes issues, there are also the bummer moments, when wrestlers are let go from WWE.

This has led to an era where Paul Levesque (formerly known as Triple H) is leading creative control–something that began to be implemented in late 2023–which was on full display at Wrestlemania XL. Levesque isn’t just known for his in-ring work. He founded the NXT brand and had creative control from 2014-2021, turning it into a brand that fans fell in love with.

Regardless of this new era, though, one unfortunate event that’s become an annual tradition remains: WWE lays off talent. Each May and April, you’re going to see numerous wrestlers released throughout this time. However, according to Ringside News (via PW Insider), there are typically personal conversations with the released talent, but this time around, when the wrestlers spoke with the people that let them ago, the conversations were more meaningful and empathetic, instead of the previously “future endeavored” messages and/or sending a garbage bag full of possessions to the released wrestler. Outside of wrestling news sites, some wrestlers have taken to social media to announce their departure from the company, including Cameron Grimes.

Below, you’ll find a constantly updated list of the released wrestlers from WWE as they are announced. Keep checking back for more updates.
