Battlefield 6 Day-One Patch Notes Include These 200 Changes And Fixes

As announced previously, Battlefield 6 is getting a major day-one patch that includes 200+ changes, fixes, and improvements, and now Battlefield Studios has published the full patch notes. Patch 1.0.1.0 includes a “wide range of updates and improvements” based in part on feedback from the Battlefield 6 open beta weekends earlier this year and the Battlefield Labs tests. Some of the major updates for the day-one patch include “refined” movement, which lowers jump height and reduces slide-to-jump momentum. The patch also increases weapon inaccuracy when firing while jumping or sliding and increases penalties for repeatedly jumping.

Battlefield Studios also addressed weapon handling with a rebalance update and “general recoil tuning.” What’s more, the developer changed the layouts for Rush and Breakthrough modes to offer “better balance” between attackers and defenders. Some of the Battlefield 6 maps, meanwhile, have received lighting adjustments and seen updates for “better traversal.”
