The stakes will be raised at Dave & Buster’s in the coming months, as the national arcade chain will allow customers 18 and older to gamble on games. That means you could bet money against a friend or loved one on Skee-Ball or ping pong–let alone any arcade games available at your local location.
CNBC reports Dave & Buster’s is teaming up with Lucra, a self-described “technology provider of gamification services,” for this new gambling initiative. Wagering will be possible within the Dave & Buster’s app for loyalty members.
“This new partnership gives our loyalty members real-time, unrivaled gaming experiences, and reinforces our commitment to continuing to elevate our customer experience through innovative, cutting-edge technology,” said Simon Murray, senior VP of entertainment and attractions at Dave & Buster’s in a press release.
