Over 80 years since the mantle was first introduced, the hero known as Blue Beetle has made it to the big screen. While this is very much a Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña) story — who was introduced to DC readers in 2006 — it’s a tale deeply interested in and connected to the near-century-long history of the Blue Beetle, from Dan Garrett to Ted Kord and beyond.

Now that Angel Manuel Soto’s charming and funny superhero adventure has hit screens, we’ll be breaking down the epic ending and the film’s two post-credit sequences starting on Friday. So be sure to check back here at that time.
