The upcoming fighting game is being developed by Spike Chunsoft and is just one of several Dragon Ball projects in the works for the franchise’s 40th anniversary. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is a continuation of Bandai Namco’s long-dormant fighting series, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi. The game was revealed at the 2023 Game Awards with a flashy trailer showing off several iconic characters from the series battling in 3D arenas.
