Elden Ring Nightreign Patch Notes Include Promised Improvements For Solo Play

The newest patch for Elden Ring Nightreign is out now, improving the game’s solo play–as promised–and adding stability improvements and bug fixes, among other things.

Patch 1.01.1 is out now on console and PC, and the full patch notes were posted on Bandai Namco’s website. For the solo-play improvements, the patch adds the “Automatic Revival Upon Defeat” effect that allows players to revive once per night-time boss battle. Additionally, the number of runes players can gain in solo play has been increased to make the experience smoother for people playing alone.

GameSpot’s glowing review of Nightreign acknowledged that “it never feels like it was designed to accommodate a single player.” The game supports three-player co-op or solo play, but not duos. Two-player co-op was overlooked in development, but could come to the game later.
