Exclusive: Strays Video Game Tie-In Announced for R-Rated Comedy

Earlier this year Universal Pictures revealed a video game tie-in for their movie Cocaine Bear. Now, IGN can exclusively announce that the studio is going the game tie-in route again for their next R-rated comedy, Strays.

Directed by Josh Greenbaum from a screenplay by Dan Perrault, Strays follows a naïve, relentlessly optimistic Border Terrier named Reggie (voiced by Will Ferrell) who is abandoned in the big city by his sleazy owner, Doug (Will Forte).

Reggie soon falls in with a pack of other strays – fast-talking, foul-mouthed Boston Terrier Bug (Jamie Foxx), super smart Australian Shepherd Maggie (Isla Fisher), and anxious Great Dane Hunter (Randall Park) – as he tries to find his way home to get his revenge on Doug by biting off the thing that he loves the most. (Hint: it rhymes with Venus.)

The game Strays of Rage follows that same plotline as the movie. Players can navigate through three levels and avoid obstacles, hump objects and get power-ups.

Strays of Rage is now available to play online.

The movie Strays opens in theaters on August 18.
