FBC: Firebreak – Release Date, Trailer, And Everything We Know

Remedy Entertainment has built its name on gripping single-player games and twisty stories, but the studio is about to embark on something entirely new with FBC: Firebreak. Following up on the supernatural gunplay of Control, Remedy is taking that style into first-person with a cooperative shooter that focuses on tight three-player teams–while further expanding the world and story of Control.

Firebreak is the first multiplayer game ever made by Remedy, as well as its first self-published title. There’s more to be revealed in the weeks leading up to launch, but for now, here’s everything we know about FBC: Firebreak.

When will FBC: Firebreak be released?

FBC: Firebreak releases on June 17, 2025. Firebreak was first announced at the Xbox Partner Preview in October 2024, although Remedy had talked about it for years before, simply as a multiplayer game called “Codename Condor.”
