The Atomic Purple-colored Elgato Stream Deck Mk. 2 is currently discounted during Amazon’s October Prime Day for just $122.99 (was $159.99), the lowest price yet for the transparent purple desktop accessory.
The Stream Deck (not to be confused with the Steam Deck) is a versatile accessory with 15 customizable buttons that can be programmed for use with content creation, productivity, gaming, and many other applications. The Stream Deck Mk. 2 is an improved model of the original, featuring a fixed-angle stand, a detachable USB-C connection, support for animated screensavers, and an interchangeable faceplate.
While the vast majority of the applications available for the Stream Deck are directed at making things easier for streamers, the Elgato Marketplace is home to a wealth of other useful tools you can use to personalize your new accessory. For example, Destiny Item Manager, the invaluable tool for organizing your inventory in Bungie’s live-service shooter, has a Stream Deck application that makes fetching your favorite loadouts even easier. You can also find a custom profile for Helldivers 2 that features pre-programmed macros for quickly calling in Stratagems in the heat of battle. Some people simply use the Stream Deck to mute/unmute or emote during video calls.
Other versions of the Elgato Stream Deck are on sale as well, including the Stream Deck Plus, Stream Deck Mini, and Stream Deck XL. The Plus is equipped with eight buttons, four dials, and a touchscreen and is on sale for $176 (was $199.99), while the six-button Mini and 32-button XL are discounted to $50.99 (was $59.99) and $238.05 (was $249.99), respectively.
