GTA Online update for the week of October 17
The weekly GTA Online update for October 17, 2024, is live with reward events, discounts, prizes, and slasher clones.

GTA Online special events
Just for logging in this week, you’ll get a Brown Creepy Cat Mask. While in Freeplay at nighttime, if you manage to kill your slasher clone, you’ll also get the Black Creepy Cat Mask along with GTA$ 100,000.
You’ll also pick up the Dia de Muertos-themed Maritime Calaca Mask and Royal Calaca Mask just for playing between today and October 23, 2024.
As the Halloween celebration continues in GTA Online this week, you can take on the Slashers Adversary Mode event where a shotgun-wielding Hunter chases up to seven Hunted. At the three-minute mark, the Hunted get their own shotguns and the tables turn. Both Hunters and Hunted get 2x GTA$ and RP all week.
Meanwhile, the GTA Online community collectively blew past the initial goal of killing 80 million zombies as part of the North Yankton Nightmare Community Event. The new target is 800 million.
For completing the first target, everyone will receive the Orange Glow Skeleton Onesie and the Red Hooded Skull Mask just for logging in.
Fighting off three waves of zombies is still rewarding 2x GTA$ and RP.

All week, completing Acid Lab Sell Missions for Dax and the Fooligans will be rewarding 2x GTA$ and RP.
