Historic Low on a Bat-tastic Bundle, Mortal Kombat 1 Torso Ripped to Half-Price, and More!
Thank your own personal deity—possibly Zodiark—it’s Friday! You’ve just about made it through the grind of the working week, so pat yourself on the back. Better yet, reward yourself with some good old-fashioned escapism from the lists below. Because, hey, it’s probably gonna be too bloody hot to do anything on the weekend anyway. Staring down the barrel at 36°C+ over here. Awesome.
In retro news, we’re celebrating the big two-three for cult classics Armored Core 2 and Tokyo Highway Challenge 2. The former was largely unappreciated outside of Japan in its day, though the series is now bona fide AAA with its seventh iteration. The latter—which copped the suckiest EU market renaming since ‘Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles’—garnered an IGN 9.3/10.
