The developer behind the Hitori No Shita: The Outcast mobile game has revealed a Bruce Lee collaboration.
The video below shows an anime Bruce Lee retelling his famous ‘be like water’ quote, as well as in-game footage that shows off the combat mechanics, combo system, and mystical techniques like fireballs, energy webs, and ice attacks.
The Hitori No Shita: The Outcast game, codenamed Project: The Outcast, is developed by MoreFun Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, and is based on the popular mythical martial arts anime Hitori No Shita.
Here’s the official blurb:
Project: The Outcast blends dynamic intense gameplay with jaw-dropping visual quality highlighted by stunning motion capture technology. Martial arts fans will appreciate many of the recognizable Chinese martial art stances, forms and strikes demonstrated in this trailer. The new collaboration with Master Bruce Lee will expand upon the appreciation of martial arts technique and philosophy in Project: The Outcast, with more details to be announced.
It’s unclear if Bruce Lee is a playable character. Project: The Outcast is due out soon for Android and iOS mobile devices. Other platforms will be announced in the future, MoreFun Studios said.
