Nintendo’s successor to the original Switch Pro controller has us excited. The $84.99 Switch 2 Pro controller retains the same great look and feel as the first-gen model, but adds some thoughtful features, including remappable GL and GR rear buttons, a headphone jack for private listening, and improved rumble. Just like the Switch 2’s Joy-Con 2 controllers, the Switch 2 model also has the new C button, which activates GameChat.

It’s available to pre-order at Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Nintendo. (Note: GameStop online pre-orders don’t open until 11 a.m. EDT.)

The Switch 2 Pro controller was originally going to launch at $79.99, but Nintendo increased the prices of almost all of the Switch 2 accessories following news of tariffs, though the cost of the console remains unchanged.

This and many other accessories will be hitting shelves June 5 — the same day as the Switch 2 console itself. The Switch 2 is available to pre-order now for $449.99 through Best BuyWalmartGameStop, and more retailers, along with plenty of other Switch 2 accessories, Switch 2 games, and new Zelda amiibo.
