Wonka Streaming Release Date

Wonka is not currently available to stream, and there’s been no word from distributor Warner Bros. on when it will eventually be released. However, given it’s a Warner Bros. movie, we know Wonka will eventually be released on Max, rather than Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+.

Warner Bros. doesn’t have a standard window of time between theatrical and streaming releases; its last four films came to Max 49 days (The Nun 2), 91 days (Blue Beetle), 56 days (Meg 2), and 147 days (Barbie) after their theatrical debuts. Barbie’s massive theatrical success makes it an outlier here, so our best guess puts Wonka on Max two to three months after it hits theaters, between February and March 2024.
