Jeremy Renner Dropped Out Of Mission: Impossible Series For A Very Wholesome Reason

Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner played William Brandt in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the actor was supposed to make more Mission: Impossible films. So what happened?

Speaking to Collider, said he “had to leave” the franchise, and for a very wholesome reason. Renner said making a big film like a new entry in the Mission: Impossible series requires a lot of travel and time away. Renner, who welcomed his first child in 2013, prioritized his family and spending time with family instead of rushing back to make another Mission: Impossible film at the time.

“I was supposed to do more with them. I love those guys. I love Tom [Cruise] so much. We had so much fun, and I love that character a lot. It requires a lot of time away. It’s all in London. I had to go be a dad. It just wasn’t gonna work out then,” Renner said.
