Jeremy Renner Marks 10 Months Since Snowplow Accident With Video Showing Avengers Star’s Recovery

Ten months after the snow plot accident that nearly took his life, Avengers star Jeremy Renner took to social media today to celebrate 10 months of recovery. Shared via Instagram, Renner posted a video showcasing his recovered mobility as he runs up his driveway. The Avengers star thanked his family, friends, and fans in the post.

The caption reads, “Today marks the day on 10 months of recovery …. First attempt at any of this activity (especially at steep grade) and was brought to tears of joy, hopefulness, and gratitude for all your support along with my family and friends…. I keep pushing for many reasons, but you are my fuel.”

Since the accident which left him bedridden, he’s gone on to share multiple updates with his fans on social media, including information about his treatments and recovery. While the Mission: Impossible star hasn’t made many public appearances since the accident, he did walk the red carpet at the premiere of his Disney+ show, Rennervations, in April.

Originally reported on by Variety in January, Renner injured himself near his Lake Tahoe home while trying to help his nephew, who was stuck in the snow. After he towed his nephew’s vehicle out of the snow and exited the Sno-Cat, the over seven-ton snow plow started rolling, and ran over the actor.

Earlier this month, he even shared some of the different types of treatments and therapies he was relying on for a full recovery. From standard procedures to more intense or alternative forms of treatment, the actor said, “My greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to be here and push to recover and be better.”

Given Renner’s near-weekly posts on social media, updating his fans on his recovery and health, we’re sure to hear more from the actor on his Instagram in between posts promoting his other exploits.
