Little Kitty, Big City takes you on a journey as a cat who’s lost and alone. However, you soon realize that there are many creatures that are willing to be your pals. One of them is a lizard, who seems to be having some trouble with his “stealth magic.” Here’s our guide on how to find all Chameleon locations in Little Kitty, Big City.
Where to find all Chameleon locations in Little Kitty, Big City
There are a total of nine Chameleon locations in Little Kitty, Big City. Here’s what you need to know:
The “Find Chameleon” quest chain begins as soon as you reach the first location and talk to him.He then presents you with a riddle/clue for the next location.From this point onward, you have to go to each area in sequential order so you can talk to Chameleon.We encourage you to unlock all fast travel points, as well, as these will help you get around the city much quicker.

Above, you can see a map of all the Little Kitty, Big City Chameleon locations. Again, you have to go to each one in the correct order based on the clues that Chameleon provides.
Chameleon location 1: Dry garden
The dry garden (i.e. sand garden) is slightly north of the fruit market. There’s a crawlspace that you can go through to reach this backyard. You should see Chameleon between some awnings. Talk to him to hear his riddle, which also kickstarts his quest chain.
Chameleon location 2: Portalet
Riddle: “There’s a place where hard hats shine, where concrete pours and diggers whine. I’ll be camouflaged nearby, invisible to your weird eye.”
Location: Head to the northern part of the map and enter the construction yard. Go through the crawlspace here to pick up a bone. You can bring it over to the dog’s bowl to distract it. Once you’ve done this, check the blue portalet (i.e. portable toilet) to find Chameleon.
Chameleon location 3: Park
Riddle: “A metal friend with arms spread wide provides a place to climb and slide. But you won’t know I’m there at all because I’m invisible.”
Location: Go to the park in the center of the map. There, you’ll find a robot slide structure.
Chameleon location 4: Vending machines
Riddle: “A sealed glass case containing snacks can stop a human in their tracks. What’s better than one machine? A group of six to choose between!”
Location: Just across from the robot slide, you’ll see a group of vending machines next to a red car. Climb to the top of the vending machines and talk to Chameleon.
Chameleon location 5: Gecku store
Riddle: “Lizards used to rule the Earth, and will again just mark my words! But until then there’s World of Gecku, a store where I will, uh…”
Location: This Little Kitty, Big City Chameleon location might be familiar to those who’ve visited Japan, especially cities with Toho Cinemas and large statues of Godzilla. There’s one just like this in the game, although the giant lizard is called Gecku. Go to the southern part of the map to find it. From there, check the store that sells Gecku merchandise. Climb on the shelves to reach Chameleon’s hiding spot.
Chameleon location 6: Rooftop garden
Riddle: “So far I’ve been too merciful, so let’s go somewhere more vertical. I’ll be near a rooftop garden, past the water-wielding warden.”
Location: Go to the small shrine near the fishing pier and look for vending machines and crates that you can climb. Follow the path that lets you cross above the street, whereupon you’ll be able to climb up vines to reach a rooftop area. There, you’ll see a woman who’s watering her garden. Get past the metal gate to the right and talk to Chameleon. Note that you may also turn off the hose to distract the woman. This will let you enter the kitchen to eat the fish. Chameleon location 7: Warehouse
Riddle: “This rooftop was a bad idea; an alleyway will bring me cheer. Just look out for the big red bullseye, and something something something bye!”
Location: Go to the southwest corner of the map, where you’ll see the exterior of a warehouse. Use the boxes and pipes to reach the front of the building. Continue jumping up until you’re able to chat with Chameleon.
Chameleon location 8: Pier
Riddle: “You’ll come down to the riverfront where, magic-cloaked, I’ll watch you hunt. To find me is your dearest wish, just don’t get sidetracked by the fish.”
Location: Head to the northwestern corner of the map. There, you should see a man who’s trying to catch fish by the pier. Just off to the side is a signboard, and Chameleon is hiding behind it.
Chameleon location 9: Convenience store bathroom
Riddle: “Beside a small convenience store protected by a well-locked door, you’ll find a room where humans rest and that’s where I’ll conclude this test.”
Location: This is the last Chameleon location in Little Kitty, Big City. Here’s what you need to do:
Go to the southeast part of the map, where there’s a convenience store that looks like a Family Mart.Beside it, you’ll see a guard dog and a small construction site.Enter the small construction site and pick up the bone. Place it in the bowl to distract the dog.This will allow you to jump on the crates and enter the restroom.Inside, you’ll find Chameleon, as well as the Onigiri Hat.
Chameleon reward: Top Hat
After finding all of Chameleon’s hiding spots, you’ll receive the Top Hat as a reward. This is just one of 42 cosmetic items you can obtain. You can learn about the others in our hat collectibles guide.
