Franchise mode in Madden NFL 25 will undergo some significant changes. To add an extra level of immersion, Madden NFL 25 now includes personality management and storylines, changes to how the draft is done, and more.

The draft will now include a simulated event that’s meant to mirror how the NFL draft is played out in the real world. As for picking out new rookies, Madden NFL 25 is introducing a new draft prospect board. The new prospect board will update in real-time and is meant to help players navigate through the list with ease. At the end of the draft, there’ll also be a guide for players to look at to let them know how well they did.

In addition to the draft and personality management, storylines will put players in positions that coaches are commonly in, such as talking to the press about trade rumors, ensuring players are working out during the off-season, and building a team culture. They’ll also need to make promises to players, and whether they’re kept or not will determine how they play throughout the season.
