Mario Kart World — See 119 Screenshots From The Switch 2 Racing Game

After years of waiting, Mario Kart fans are getting a new game, Mario Kart World, as a launch title this year for the Nintendo Switch 2.

You can get a closer look at Mario Kart World through the 100+ images in this gallery. The screenshots show off characters and courses, as well as some of the game’s social features with the Switch 2 camera. As announced previously, players can use a USB camera to scan their face into the game and see other friends during races.

Mario Kart World is set in a giant, sprawling world that allows players to drive from course to course, or simply cruise around for a leisurely drive without racing at all.

The game features dozens of popular Nintendo characters–and the fan-favorite cow–along with the return of Grand Prix and battle modes. There is also a new battle royale-style mode, along with numerous new items. And yes, Rainbow Road is coming back.

Mario Kart World is one of gaming’s first $80 games, and Nintendo says the experience justifies the price tag.

If you’re looking to pick up a copy of Mario Kart World, the best value is purchasing the $500 bundle that includes a Switch 2 and the game. That is, if you can find a retailer that has the bundle in stock. For more, be sure to consult GameSpot’s Switch 2 preorder guide.
