Monster Hunter Wilds Hits A Massive Milestone, Free Item Pack Coming To Celebrate

Capcom has revealed that Monster Hunter Wilds has now sold over 10 million copies since its release on February 28 across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, one analyst claimed that the game is slightly underperforming on console.

Capcom is planning to release a free item pack to all players, but its contents are currently unknown. Capcom has also chalked up the game’s success to the introduction of cross-play across all platforms as well as new features such as Focus Mode and the seamless movement between environments, leading to a more immersive experience. Its producer cited the game’s story as a reason for its success too.

On PC, Monster hunter Wilds hit 1.1 million concurrent players during launch day, making it a huge success. According to an analyst, the PC version is outselling the console versions combined.
