Much-Loved Drum-Based Rhythm Game Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival Has a Release Date for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival makes the jump from Nintendo Switch to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S on November 7, 2024, Bandai Namco has announced.

The taiko drum music rhythm game launched on Nintendo Switch back in 2022, and now, two years later, it’s ready to hit the current-gen. This new version supports up to 120 frames per second, which Bandai Namco noted is a first on home consoles. Elsewhere, there are collaborative songs and mini characters exclusive to the new versions. A demo is out now on all platforms.

Rhythm Festival lets players explore Omiko City, where everyone’s favorite Taiko elements come together in one place, with Don-chan and Kumo-kyun. With several modes that will have players experience the ultimate celebration of music in the Story mode, try fun modes with up to four players in the Taiko Land or face other players online in the Dondoko Town. Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival features 76 songs, including Gurenge, Feel Special, and Racing into the Night.

The Taiko Music Pass is a paid music subscription service that expands the game song library with more than 700 songs that can be accessed at any time.
