New Batman Forever Figures Revealed at IGN Live 2024, Delivering Dark Knight Nostalgia

After the goth vibe of Tim Burton, but before Batman fully leaned into his tortured soul schtick, 1995’s Batman Forever gave us an A-list cast delivering some of the most over-the-top performances of their careers. Now McFarlane Toys is reviving the camp caper with a brand new range of action figures, revealed today at IGN Live and available for pre-order right now.

When it comes to this kind of memorabilia, you’re in safe hands with McFarlane Toys. Founded by Spawn creator and renowned comic book artist Todd McFarlane 25 years ago, this company was created after McFarlane and Mattel couldn’t agree on the production of the figures. Since then, McFarlane Toys has gone on to create detailed figures for the DC Multiverse, iconic horror movies, anime, video games, and more.

Batman Forever might not have received the critical acclaim of the Nolan trilogy, but it still holds a special place in the hearts of 90’s kids. The movie had Val Kilmer as its Dark Knight, with Jim Carrey – as the Riddler – and Tommy Lee Jones – as Harvey ‘Two-Face’ Dent – on team villain. Sidekick duties fell to Chris O’Donnell as Robin, while Nicole Kidman was the love interest and damsel in distress. There’s even a Drew Barrymore cameo, giving her the role of one the sweeter of Dent’s two female companions. The soundtrack also deserves a shoutout, giving us Seal’s Kiss from a Rose alongside banger tracks from Nick Cave, Massive Attack, Method Man and more.

This is just one of the reveals on the way from IGN Live, and you can catch the stream right from the show floor on IGN. The event runs until June 9, so cancel your weekend plans and get ready for more reveals, special guests, and gaming goodness.
