New D&D Expansions Highlight Artificer Class And Dragon Adventures
Two new Dungeons & Dragons books are launching soon that will add new rules and storylines to your tabletop RPG sessions. The first is the Dragon Delves Adventure Anthology launching on July 8 for $50, which includes 10 pre-made adventures designed for characters from levels 1-12 for your group to follow along with. The other is Eberron: Forge of the Artificer Rules Expansion, which will be available for $30 starting August 19 and will add revised rules for the Artificer class for the new D&D 2024 Edition, plus information on the Eberron campaign setting, like new character options, monsters, campaign templates, and more. Dungeons & Dragons – Dragon Delves Adventure Anthology

This collection of premade adventures is, naturally, all about the D&D multiverse’s many dragons. Each dragon-themed adventure features at least one of D&D’s chromatic dragons–such as the red dragon–or metallic dragons like the gold and brass dragons. The adventures are fully illustrated by various artists, each with a unique art style and aesthetic. There’s also an art gallery showing off the designs for each of the featured dragons.
The 10 included adventures work as standalone experiences or as part of your ongoing campaigns for characters between levels 1 and 12. The book includes maps for each location and complete information on the encounters, plus step-by-step setup and quick-start instructions for Dungeon Masters so you can start playing with minimal extra preparation.
Dungeons & Dragons – Eberron: Forge of the Artificer Rules Expansion

The Forge of the Artificer Rules Expansion updates the Artificer class from previous D&D editions with new rules for D&D 2024. Artificers are essentially magical engineers, using magical technology to craft powerful tools and weapons. The new rules also include revised information on four Artificer subclasses and adds a fifth, all-new subclass, Cartographer.
Along with the updated Artificer class, the book also features lore and rules unique to the Eberron world setting, such as:
- Updated character building information like five species, 18 backgrounds, 28 feats, and a selection of new spells and magical items.
- Redesigned rules for Dragonmarks
- 20 monsters
- Three Eberron campaign themes, including fantasy noir, political thriller, and pulp adventure.
The Dragon Delves Adventure Anthology and Ebberon: Forge of the Artificer Rules Expansion both require the new D&D 2024 Core Rulebook set, which is comprised of the 2024 Edition Player’s Handbook, Monster Manual, and Dungeon Master’s Guide, all of which are available at Amazon. D&D 2024 is an updated and expanded version of D&D 5th Edition (5E). While you’ll need the 2024 Edition Core Rulebooks to play with the upcoming expansions and adventure modules, the new edition is compatible with all previously released 5E books, expansions, and gameplay materials.
