During Geeked Week ’23, Netflix revealed a ferocious first look at Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, a new animated series arriving in 2024 that looks to star an older Darius Bowman and the T-Rex Big Eatie from Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.

While Netflix wasn’t ready to share all the details about Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, it did unveil its official logline;
“After the park has closed, after the kingdom has fallen, a new era of chaos begins… Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is coming to Netflix in 2024.”
The specific words Netflix included to describe Chaos Theory make us believe the series will take place after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but potentially before Jurassic World: Dominion? It’s a bit too early to tell for sure.
As for the trailer, it starts with a group of people chasing a T-Rex that looks very much like Big Eatie from Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, complete with her blue-grey skin and yellow eyes. After we get the iconic T-Rex roar and title treatment, we then see a car drift to a stop. The final shot of the trailer is the driver leaving the car, and it looks to be an older Darius.
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous ran for five seasons, and Big Eatie and her daughter, Little Eatie, were supporting characters in Seasons 4 and 5. The last time we saw Big Eatie, she had saved Darius from a Spinosaurus called Asset 87. She and her daughter were then left to live in a dinosaur sanctuary only a few knew existed. If this trailer is any indication, that secret is now out.
