Nicholas Galitzine Has The Power As Live-Action He-Man

Nicholas Galitzine has The Power! Amazon MGM has announced that the Idea Of You star has landed the role of the live-action He-Man for the long-delayed Masters of the Universe movie. The Travis Knight-helmed (Bumblebee) production is aiming for a 2026 release.

Chris Butler is writing the screenplay after David Callaham and the Nee brothers left the film. This will be the second live-action Masters of the Universe movie after the 1987 vehicle with Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella as He-Man and Skeletor, respectively.

According to a prior synopsis from the studio, the movie takes some liberties with the original story and has a young Prince Adam (He-Man’s alter-ego) crashing to Earth in a spaceship and decades later returns to his home planet of Eternia to defend it from the evil forces of Skeletor. To take on the bone baddie, he must uncover his past and become He-Man.
