Nike Released GoldenEye 007-Inspired Sneakers, And They Quickly Sold Out

Nearly 27 years ago, GoldenEye 007 was a little too late to arrive alongside the James Bond movie that shares the same name. But it was just in time to become a breakout hit on Nintendo 64 and one of the most popular shooters ever made. Nike recently paid homage to one of 007’s best video games with a pair of sneakers, but if you didn’t grab them then you may have already missed your chance.

Via GQ, Nike released the Nike Air Max 1 Low Poly Big Head Mode sneakers earlier this week for $160 and they sold out almost immediately. The name is a reference to GoldenEye 007’s Big Head Mode, which gave Bond a comically oversized noggin.
