Pepper Grinder is a 2D platformer where you drill through water, sand, and other environments, solving puzzles and gathering collectibles. One of the rarest collectibles in Pepper Grinder are the Skull Coins. There are five Skull Coins in each stage and these coins can be used to unlock bonus goodies, like hidden levels. These coins will require you to reach hidden areas, perform special tasks, and of course, dig through sand using your Grinder on both PC and Switch at launch.
Published by Devolver Digital, Pepper Grinder is a puzzle platformer starring Pepper and her high-powered digging tool, Grinder. Pepper was shipwrecked and robbed, and now you need to dig through levels and enemies to get back her stolen valuables. Using the collected riches you can upgrade Pepper and purchase new drill tips at various shops and open new paths on the world map, leading to new and different stages.
There are a total of five Skull Coins across each stage. The Skull Coins are much larger than the other valuables you collect in Pepper Grinder, with a gold color and a large Skull icon on the coin. Some of them will be directly in your main path, while others require you to explore the corners of each level. You may also need to complete an extra puzzle to reach a Skull Coin, or perform a difficult jump. Other Skull Coins may be hidden from sight, inside an object or in a sand pit that you will need to grind through in order to find the Skull Coin. The Skull Coins are listed below in order of the stages you play throughout Pepper Grinder, with the stage name listed in the title.
