Pokémon Go is hosting a “Harvest Festival” event from Nov. 7-12, featuring autumn-vibes Pokémon to usher in the (hopefully) cool weather.

The event features a double candy bonus for catching Pokémon, an increased rate to find shiny Pumpkaboo, and Mossy Lure Modules will bring in different Pokémon, like Alolan Exeggutor, Snorlax, Pumpkaboo, and Smoliv.

Smoliv and its evolutions will also be able to be found shiny for the first time.

For $1.99, you can buy a Premium Timed Research. Is the “Harvest Festival 2024” paid research worth it? For the value, yes, since you get two lures, an incense, and a lucky egg, but it’ll specifically be worth it if you are shiny hunting for Smoliv, as it rewards lots of Smoliv encounters.

Note that since it’s a Timed Research, you’ll need to finish it before the event ends to get all the rewards.
