Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC Is Getting an Epilogue Set for January

Game Freak is preparing to put a bow on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC with a brand-new epilogue, which is set to release on January 11 at 6am PT / 9am ET.

The straighforwardly titled Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Epilogue will team the player character with Arven, Nemona, and Penny as they journey through Kitakami — the area featured in the Teal Mask DLC. A trailer showed off a very brief glimpse of what to expect, as well as a handful of teaser images.

In order to access the epilogue, players will need to finish Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s main story as well as the main stories for both Teal Mask and Indigo Disk. Indigo Disk was released on December 14, bringing with it various returning legendaries and plenty of new content. It even lets you become a Pokémon.

The epilogue was patched into Scarlet and Violet when Indigo Disk was released and promptly uncovered via datamining, so fans have known about it for a while now. If you want to avoid spoilers, you might want to keep your head down until the epilogue releases in January.
