Resident Evil Requiem Already Has Over 1 Million Wishlists

At the start of this month, we weren’t even aware of Resident Evil Requiem. Now, the survival-horror game has been added to more than 1 million wishlists by Steam and PS5 players, per Capcom.

On X, the official Resident Evil account shared the milestone for Reqieum, which was unveiled at Summer Game Fest earlier in June. So far, the game is only available to add to your wishlist on Steam and the PlayStation Store. It’s not up on the Xbox Store yet, but Resident Evil Requiem will arrive February 27, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S–as well as PC and PS5, of course.

Resident Evil Requiem will serve as the ninth mainline entry in the long-running series. It will also see the franchise return to Raccoon City, as FBI technical analyst Grace Ashcroft goes to investigate a death at an abandoned hotel. Grace is also the daughter of Resident Evil Outbreak’s Alyssa Ashcroft.
