Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Here at Robots Over Dinosaurs, we are a friend to the rumor mills. It has been confirmed that Sony will not be attending Summer Game Fest which takes place starting June 8th. Microsoft has carved out a presentation with Bethesda on June 11th. Fans of the juggernaut Sony are hungry for information since throughout most of 2022, other than some State of Plays, there has been no bombastic Sony-esque PlayStation Showcase.

Gaming Insiders use tons of internal connections to press for the information that fans hunger for when it comes to Sony just blowing the doors down. Some rumors believe we will get a longer State of Play that will showcase upcoming games like Final Fantasy XVI, Silent Hills f, and more promotion of the Standalone edition of Spider-Man for the PlayStation 5. With 2023 being another E3-less Year, Sony will have to get through the summer hype train with something of their own.

Many of these insiders believe that Sony will release something before Summer Game Fest to be the company that starts off Q3 with excitement regarding IPs that get announced, and solidify the summer lineup.

We will keep searching for more information so that we can provide you with the best information, and scheduling of events.
