Spirited Away And More Studio Ghibli Limited-Edition Blu-Rays Are Steeply Discounted
Estimated reading time: 2 minutes
Spirited Away is one of the most beloved Studio Ghibli films, and today you can add it to your collection for cheap. Amazon is discounting the Spirited Away: Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray to $16 (down from $27), which matches its all-time low price. Along with a Blu-ray and DVD version of this film, you’ll get a gorgeous red steelbook case to show off the film in your home theater. All steelbook editions of Studio Ghibli movies have the same visual theme, which makes collecting and displaying them more fun. Big Spirited Away fans can pair the Blu-ray with this beautiful (and discounted) official art book focused entirely on the iconic animated film.
And if you’re a longtime Studio Ghibli fan who wants to start or expand your personal collection, you’ll be happy to hear that dozens of other films are discounted right now. This includes the My Neighbor Totoro: 30th Anniversary Edition for $35 (down from $50), which is packed with exclusive content. Besides the film, you’ll be treated to a CD soundtrack, a 40-page art book, and additional content that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the classic movie’s production.
Other notable deals include The Boy and the Heron: Limited Edition Steelbook preorders for $35 (down from $45) and Porco Rosso: Limited Edition Steelbook for $16 (down from $27). The Boy and the Heron released last year to widespread acclaim, and it’ll be the first Ghibli film to receive a 4K Blu-ray version when it launches on July 9.
