Switch 2 Day-1 Update Out Now, Adds Many Critical Features

The Switch 2 launches on June 5, and it’s already June 5 in parts of the world, so the system’s all-important day-one update is out now.
This update is a big, important one, as it adds critical features like support for Nintendo Switch Online, GameChat, GameShare, and the eShop itself. The update also adds the ability to perform a system transfer from the original Switch and allows players to upload screenshots, among other things.
Everyone is prompted to download the 20.1.1 update when performing the Switch 2’s initial setup.
