Sydney Sweeney-Starring Split Fiction Movie From Deadpool Writers Gets A Key Update
The Split Fiction movie is progressing ahead, it seems, as a report claims Amazon MGM Studios is nearing a deal to acquire the rights for the film that could star Sydney Sweeney, according to Deadline.
Wicked director John M. Chu is reportedly on board to direct, with Sweeney set to star. Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are writing the script.
Deadline said there was a bidding war for the Split Fiction movie rights, with Amazon MGM Studios ultimately winning out. Sony Pictures was another reported top contender.
