The Biggest New Game Releases Of November 2025

The October spooky season might be over, but there’s one last jump-scare with the realization that 2025 is almost over. As we head into the endgame of the year, we’re also looking at a month full of big releases like a pair of exclusives for the Switch 2, mind-bending puzzle-adventures, and novel indies that put a new spin on familiar ideas. On top of that, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 arrives in the middle of the month, so there’s no shortage of games to play no matter what your taste is.

Football Manager 26

Football Manager 26 makes its long-awaited return to the soccer field, as the first game in the series since 2023’s Football Manager 24 is looking to serve up some big changes. Satisfactory

The Fable: Manga Build Roguelike

Just when you think there’s no room for another roguelike with a fresh spin, along comes one with a twist. In The Fable: Manga Build Roguelike, you’re assembling a manga page one panel at a time, building action scenes and damaging the very reality of the paper as you dish out some pain. Based on an actual manga series, the game puts you in the boots of a talented assassin who’s just looking to live a normal life.

Syberia: Remastered

The classic 2002 clockpunk game Syberia makes its grand return with this remaster. If you’ve never played it, Syberia is a game about Kate Walker and the automaton Oscar, who embark on a journey to find the inventor Hans Voralberg. This new version of the game has been fully redesigned in 3D, overhauling the entire experience with redesigned puzzles, an updated user interface, and multiple quality-of-life upgrades to make the experience feel more intuitive.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

The next big exclusive for the Switch 2, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a hack-and-slash prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The third game in Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors and Zelda crossover series, Age of Calamity features a large cast of playable characters, thousands of enemies to clobber,and a storyline that will reveal more about Ganondorf’s previous attempt to take control of Hyrule.

Unbeatable

In a world where music is illegal, Unbeatable is a call to action to go commit some rhythmic crimes. Developed by D-Cell Games, the promising demo for Unbeatable has shown off a fun combo of anime-inspired adventure, rhythm-based gameplay, and an album of original tracks that are all certified bangers.

Into the Grid

Have you ever wanted to become a master hacker, but with cool skills instead of phoning corporations and tricking the IT team into giving you login details? Then you’ll want to check out Into the Grid, a roguelike deckbuilding adventure that also has plenty of tabletop influences in its digital DNA. Into the Grid features some incredible artwork for its collection of cards, and you’ll use each one to battle an evil corporation that rules with an iron first in this cyberpunk game.

Lumines Arise

Lumines starts its comeback tour this month, and you can expect this new game in the series to be full of psychedelic puzzles and beats.A reimagining of the classic Lumines puzzle series, the new game is being developed by the same team behind the superb Tetris Effect, Enhance Games. The game will also offer PlayStation VR2 support, in case you want to dust your headset off for the game.

Winter Burrow

Winter is coming, and if you’re a mouse out in the wild, then you’re going to need to do more than just dress in layers to stave off the cold. Winter Burrow puts you in the tiny shoes of a woodland critter who returns to their childhood home and has to restore it, while also braving the elements for supplies so that they can expand their survival handbook and solve the mystery of what happened to their missing aunt.

Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2

After Yakuza 0 arrived as a Switch 2 launch game, Sega is porting even more of the classic open-world beat-’em-up games to the new Nintendo hardware. Keeping things chronological, Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2 tell a two-fisted tale of honor and duty in the criminal underbelly of Japan. The games are arriving ahead of next year’s remake of Yakuza 3, giving fans of the series time to catch up on these key chapters in the life of Kazuma Kiryu.

Anno 117 Pax Romana

Ubisoft’s city-building strategy series is back this month, and this time, you’ll be designing marble metropolises during the peak of the Roman Empire. Like other games in the series, you’ll start from scratch and slowly expand your city, building diplomatic alliances, optimizing your economy, and juggling the needs of the empire with the wants of the people.

Little Corners

At this time of the year, you might want something relaxing to play. That’s where Little Corners enters the scene, as this cute lo-fi game is a sticker-craft decoration sim with no timer or high-pressure goals. You’ve got a blank space to decorate, chill beats playing in the background, and as much time as you need to create everything from an adventurer’s tavern to a warm winter cabin.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

It’s unusual for Call of Duty to drop back-to-back sequels in a sub-series, and that’s just what’s happening this year with the release of Black Ops 7. Billed as a “mind-bending” Call of Duty game set in the year 2035, the new entry in the Black Ops series sees David Mason lead an elite team to take down bad guys threatening to plunge the world into chaos. Beyond that, you can also expect the usual multiplayer and Zombies modes in the mix, and while it’s going to be interesting to see just how much of an impact Battlefield 6 has had on the fortunes of Black Ops 7, we’re betting the game will still be a license to print money.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

Last year’s Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero dropped on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and while it wasn’t perfect, it was still a grand return to the days of the Budokai Tenkaichi series of games. Where Winds Meet

There’s been an influx of action-RPG video games inspired by Chinese folklore and Wuxia martial arts movies recently, and one of the new entries in this growing genre is Where Winds Meet. Looking like a lost film from the Shaw Brothers movie catalog, Where Winds Meet is set during China’s Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, and as a young sword master, it’s up to you to reshape history in this free-to-play game.

Escape from Tarkov

Extraction shooter fans are eating well this year, as following the release of Arc Raiders, Escape From Tarkov is getting a 1.0 release on PC. If you skipped its long beta period, the game is essentially considered to be the blueprint for extraction shooters, with its high-risk and high-reward gameplay in a world where everyone has a bullet with your name on it.

Marvel’s Deadpool VR

What’s it like to be Marvel’s merc with a mouth? If this VR game is any indicator, it’s all blood and quips when you share Deadpool’s headspace. Voiced by Doogie Howser MD–AKA actor Neil Patrick Harris–Marvel’s Deadpool VR sees the regeneratin’ degenerate square off against classic X-Men villains like Mojo and Lady Deathstrike. Developed by ‘Splosion Man studio Twisted Pixel, the game will launch for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S VR headsets.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide

Are you ready, kids? Everyone’s favorite fry cook is back for a new adventure, and this time, SpongeBob’s best friend Patrick joins him for the adventure. After a feud between the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune unleashes ghostly chaos all over Bikini Bottom, it’s up to SpongeBob and Patrick to save the day. Players will be able to switch seamlessly between the two, using their unique skills to overcome obstacles in this platformer.

Demonschool

After being delayed by Silksong a few months back, Demonschool is finally ready to deliver some turn-based combat against demonic forces and school days drama. Best described as Persona meets Fire Emblem, the game features a roster of 15 characters with whom you can forge relationships, big weirdos to battle, and some light horror to keep your pulse racing.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault

  • Platforms: PC via early access, PS5, Xbox Series X|S

A mix of roguelike dungeon exploration and shopkeeping sim, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault launches in early access this month. The sequel will kick off with three different biomes to explore, over 120 relics to collect, and an updated combat system. Like the first game released way back in 2018, you’ll live the life of a fearless adventurer and a crafty merchant, as you plunder dungeons and sell the goods in your shop, slowly expanding it over time.

Outlaws + Handful of Missions: Remaster

Nightdive Studios has become the go-to studio for resurrecting classic games, and for its next project, the developer is headed back to the Wild West of Outlaws. The original 1997 game from LucasArts has been credited as being the first FPS to introduce a sniper zoom gameplay mechanic–alongside several other innovative ideas at the time–and this new version features updated art that has been recreated from archived art and cross-play multiplayer.

Kirby Air Riders

Nintendo is dropping a one-two punch of new games for Switch 2 this month, and if Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment isn’t your cup of tea, you can look forward to Kirby Air Riders in November. It’s fast and furious racing starring the adorable pink blob, and game director Masahiro Sakurai has gone into exhaustive detail in two livestreams with his presentation on the game and its mechanics. A follow-up to the 2003 GameCube classic, the game will also have several cool-looking Amiibo figures to collect.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

Exactly one year after it was first released on PC and Xbox Series X|S, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl makes its way to PS5 in November. While the game had several substantial issues when it first launched, recent patches and updates have fixed it up considerably, so if you’re looking to explore the Exclusion Zone once again, now is a good time to do so on PS5.

Constance

In case Hollow Knight: Silksong wasn’t enough to satiate your need for a 2D hand-drawn metroidvania, check out Constance this month. A game that features its own elegant art direction, the game puts you in the shoes of the titular paintbrush-wielding artist as they work to escape from a colorful but decaying inner world. The game emphasizes momentum and maintaining a flow-state, and you’ll do just that with an arsenal of paint-based mechanics.

Terminator 2D: No Fate

  • Release date: November 26

Following a brief delay, Bitmap Bureau’s Terminator 2D: No Fate is finally ready to let you go full “hasta la vista” on Skynet and its robot army. A retro-style shoot-’em-up in which you play as Sarah Connor and the T-800, the game blends iconic scenes from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with original scenarios and multiple endings.
