The First Descendant Already Has 10 Million Players

What a week it’s been for the looter-shooter The First Descendant. After just seven days, the free-to-play game from Nexon has reached a huge milestone with 10 million players.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), the official First Descendants account celebrated the occasion by saying: “Thank you all for your tremendous support and love. It means everything to us.” This comes after The First Descendant’s big start on Steam, with the looter-shooter having over 225,000 concurrent players within 24 hours of launch.

So far, The First Descendant seems to be keeping players around, too. Per SteamDB, the game has over 168,000 concurrent players on Steam at the time of publication. That number obviously doesn’t include people in-game on PlayStation and Xbox, either.
