This Nintendo Mascot’s Presence At MagicCon Raised Questions Of A Possible New Collab

Magic: The Gathering’s Universes Beyond initiative has introduced some interesting and strange collaborations. At MagicCon Atlanta, a booth hyping a new Secret Lair drop starring Furby unintentionally gave rise to speculation about another potential collab, after a Furby-suited human was seen dancing with a Kirby-suited human.

On Saturday of the convention, Furby took its place on a miniature dance floor in front of its section, when a person in a massive Kirby costume joined the festivities, for nearly 30 minutes. Wizards of the Coast confirmed to GameSpot that this was simply a coincidence, and that a fan had a Kirby suit and decided to get in on the action.
