We’re Now at the Bullet Holes and Braille Stage of GTA 6 Fan Theory

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Perhaps it was inevitable. Just as the GTA community struggled to keep it together ahead of the release of the first GTA 6 trailer, now it’s out fans are seeing theories and release dates in all the wrong places while they anxiously await the game’s second video. This time, the theories are powered by bullet holes and Braille.

Redditor 27guy took a cold, hard look at the bullet holes in the car that dual protagonists, Jason and Lucia, lean on in the official GTA 6 reveal art and came up with a potential release window for GTA 6 Trailer 2: September 2024.

How did they come to such a conclusion? With the power of Braille. 27guy, perhaps with tongue firmly set within their cheek, literally connected the dots between these bullet holes and numbers in the Braille alphabet. There’s a 1, a 9, and the word ‘more’, apparently. What does that say? ‘One more, September.’

So some people are using the bullet holes in the car from the #GTA6 official artwork and in Braille it says,The next #GTAVI Trailer will be in September 2024! I hope that is fake because that is way too long for a second trailer hopefully we get a next trailer April 2024 🌴🌊🌇🌃 pic.twitter.com/JwYZjgFDwp

Clearly, 27guy is doing the Pepe Silvia meme here, and the GTA 6 community has reacted in kind. “What the most waited game does to a man,” said one redditor. “My man. You are way too deep in the hole,” said another, perhaps oblivious to the pun.

But 27guy is not alone. GTA 6 theories are running rampant, and will only get more voracious the longer Rockstar Games waits to unleash GTA 6 Trailer 2 upon the world. We’ve done our fair share of GTA 6 theory-crafting ourselves, of course, and have reported on the weird and wonderful from the game’s rabid community. Earlier this week, we reported on how GTA fans had gone full zoom and enhance on the GTA 6 reveal art in their bid to piece together the game’s map. And here are 99 details we spotted in the GTA 6 reveal trailer, which should tide you over.

GTA 6 looks set to be the biggest video game launch of all time when it does eventually come out in 2025 on PlayStation and Xbox (but not PC).
