Witcher Dev Partners With Pokemon Go Owner For A New Game Based On Its IP

CD Projekt has signed a deal to work with Pokemon Go owner Scopely to make a game based on one of the Polish company’s franchises. CD Projekt made the announcement during its latest financial briefing, but didn’t elaborate much on the deal.

Scopely, which is owned by Saudi Arabia’s Savvy Games, is primarily a mobile game developer. Management was asked to share more details on this deal with Scopely during the earnings call, but declined to discuss the matter.

Scopely is one of the biggest mobile game companies on the planet, and recently entered a new stratosphere of success with Monopoly Go.
