RPG fans can look forward to a western release of Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana soon, as XSEED Games and Marvelous USA have confirmed an early 2025 release on PS5, PS4, and Switch. First released in Japan in 2023, the US release will have a collector’s edition look while maintaining a $60 price point.

There’s an interesting history behind this Ys release, as it was first released under the title of Ys III: Wanderers from Ys in 1989. It was remade as Ys: The Oath in Felghana for PSP in 2005. The remake was ported to PC in 2012.
Oath in Felghana completely overhauled Ys III, and this new edition adds quality-of-life enhancements like Turbo mode, optional new character illustrations throughout the game, and voice acting for protagonist Adol Christin. For music fans, this version features three different iterations of the original soundtrack, all remastered in high-quality audio.
