Star Wars: Hasbro Reveals Massive Mos Eisley Cantina Playset for Hardcore Collectors

If you’re the type of Star Wars fan who’s spent years painstakingly collecting action figures of all the smugglers, bounty hunters, criminals and other assorted riffraff that populate the Mos Eisley Cantina, then Hasbro has just the collectible for you. Thanks to their latest HasLab crowdfunding campaign, all those Star Wars figures will soon have a home.

Hasbro just revealed a massive Mos Eisley Cantina playset as part of the Vintage Collection line, which means it’ll fit all your 3 3/4-inch Star Wars figures. Get a closer look at the set and the included figures in the slideshow gallery below:

The Mos Eisley Cantina is designed as a modular set that can be customized to suit any collector’s display setup. The base set includes an external entrance facade, an entry archway and stairs, the bar, three booths and other archways. It also includes literally hundreds of accessory pieces, from tables and chairs to no fewer than eight styles of cups. Collectors can further customize the set with a label sheet that features decorations like wanted posters and a sabacc table top.

As if that weren’t enough, deep-pocketed collectors can opt for the deluxe version, which includes additional booths, tables, chairs, cups and a fourth wall to enclose the bar.

Naturally, a cantina is only as good as its regulars, and this set will come with at least three exclusive figures, two of which are characters that have never been given action figures before. The trio includes everyone’s favorite surly, droid-hating bartender Wuher and the Tonnika Sisters, Brea and Senni.

Additionally, Hasbro will add additional figures to the set as the campaign meets its stretch goals. The base set needs at least 8,000 backers to be successfully funded. At 11,000 backers, a Greedo figure will be unlocked. At 14,000 backers, a Nabrun Leid figure will be unlocked. Finally, at 17,000 backers, an Arleil Schous figure will be unlocked.

The Mos Eisley Cantina playset is priced at $399.99 for the base version and $499.99 for the deluxe version. The HasLab campaign will run until July 8, 2024. Assuming it’s successfully funded, the set should ship to backers in Fall 2025.
